Erica regrets not visiting Taiwan as a student with her friend Jenny.

In “Cultural Revolution” she gets the chance to go; but when she’s forced to choose between adventure and not letting down her ESL class, she discovers that not all opportunities should be seized, especially if it means giving up something that you’ve worked to build up.

When she returns to the present she applies this lesson to her decision of whether to give up her editing job to become the author of a sex guide.
